![]() ![]() Still, this is a great tool all around, and is the only one I've tried that did a perfect job of normalizing one of my self-created albums. I have a whole lot - the process took a long time - and many of the MP3s on my drive aren't ones I would care to have catalogued - sounds for ringtones and fragments from audiobooks, for example. I would have much preferred allowing me to initiate this. The single thing I didn't like, which you should be prepared for, is that as soon as I launched it the first time it immediately began searching out and cataloguing all of the MP3s on my drive. Everything is laid out obviously, and all of the features work flawlessly. It's easy to find what you want in the menu and through right-click. Clear, direct, basic interface - looks like a spreadsheet with a menu and controllers - but you don't really need a pretty interface for this sort of thing. If you see it show up here again, snatch it up. Thanks for any information.A Next-Day Comment: After having had a chance to play with Zortram for a few hours, I've gotta say this is the real deal. I'd like to clarify this before running it again. If this program does start amending files without asking permission that is a huge no-no. I can't see the relevant option in the options menu. However there's something I need to know first! #8 Mike H (or anybody that can confirm or disconfirm his statement) please explain why you said "BE CAREFUL, it is set to overwrite your existing tags by default". ![]() However I am willing to try again, because the program looks very useful. Apparently it is set to discover every MP3 that it can before saving any data. I was willing to forgive this glitch given the large amount of data it had read, until I restarted the program and discovered that it hadn't saved a thing. ![]() I waited about 8 minutes for it to recover before closing it with Process Lasso. Zortam Mp3 Media Studio is a great all-in-one music tool for organizing your Mp3/Karaoke collection for editing Mp3 ID3 tags, ripping your CD, normalizing Mp3, converts Mp3/Wav and. It found the first 17,000 MPs at a cracking pace - and then it hung. I have a large MP3 library so I was interested to give Zortam MP3 Media Studio a trial. ![]()
